TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
KKRU's 200 hour Classical Mat Pilates Teacher Training Program is designed to give you the skills and confidence to teach Pilates with depth, intention, and a commitment to excellence. Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll master the full Pilates Mat repertoire, gain essential anatomy knowledge, learn injury modifications, and develop effective cueing skills — all while practicing in real-world teaching settings.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Complete Curriculum
Learn Classical Mat Pilates exercises levels 1–4, intermediate level anatomy, and injury modification techniques.
Hands-On Training
200 total hours including practice teaching, private sessions, lectures on cueing proper form, history, anatomy and real-time feedback.
Inclusive Training for Diverse Groups
Specialized instruction for adapting exercises for prenatal, postnatal, senior clients, and those with injuries.
Career Development
Branding, client relationship building, and professional Pilates career guidance.
Certification Ready
Fulfills criteria to be eligible for National Pilates Certification.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT & EXPECTATIONS
Attendance Requirement
Trainees must complete 6 privates with Khetanya (or Teacher Trainer) and attend at least 8 of 12 “Pilates in the Park” sessions, a vital component of hands-on training.
Purpose
Practice assisting and observe lead instruction in group class settings.
Leadership Experience
Each trainee will have the opportunity to lead at least 2 group classes to develop confidence and practice teaching skills.
Professional Conduct
Trainees are expected to engage actively, provide support to peers, and approach each session with a professional, learning-focused mindset.
Commitment to Completion
Trainees must complete all assignments, practicums, and assessments to qualify for certification.
